Project Title:                 A Resolution to adopt an amendment to the 2030 General Plan to establish a Housing Chapter and adopt the Moab Area Affordable Housing Plan (MAAHP).

Project Description: The County Commission will hold a public hearing to consider a Resolution to adopt the Moab Area Affordable Housing Plan (MAAHP) as an amendment to the 2030 General Plan and also revisions to the body of the General Plan to establish a Housing Element, which is currently lacking. The MAAHP is a joint plan between the City of Moab and Grand County that provides baseline data on the housing conditions of the Moab Area, with a special focus on the status of affordable housing. The Plan also sets goals and outlines action strategies to increase affordable and attainable housing for the next 10 years.
