Project Title    Public Hearing to consider an Ordinance to amend the Grand County Land Use Code


Project Address:         


Project Description:     The Grand County Commission will review and approve/deny draft amendments to updates in Articles 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9 and 10 of the Land Use Code which have been prioritized as imminent areas of concern in recent County Commission meetings. The updates include, but are not inclusive of, the removal of CUPs in multiple places within the Use Table to either make those uses Permitted or not Permitted, including removing CUP for a Major Utility and allowing this use only through application of a new Major Utility Overlay zone, reducing residential density allowed in Highway Commercial,  creating a new Range and Resource-20 zoning district for large tracts of land in the outlying areas of the County, updating Accessory Dwelling Units to be in compliance with State Statute, improvements to the Site Plan Review standards for commercial and multifamily development, and updates to Article 10, Definitions.
