NOTICE OF PROPOSED TAX INCREASE 

The GRAND COUNTY LIBRARY is proposing to increase its property tax revenue. 

- The GRAND COUNTY LIBRARY tax on a $413,000 residence would increase from $77.00 to $108.80, which is $31.80 per year.

 - The GRAND COUNTY LIBRARY tax on a $413,000 business would increase from $140.01 to $197.83, which is $57.82 per year. 

- If the proposed budget is approved, GRAND COUNTY LIBRARY would increase its property tax budgeted revenue by 41.29% above last year's property tax budgeted revenue excluding eligible new growth. 

All concerned citizens are invited to a public hearing on the tax increase.
